White-tail blue pheasants was successful breeding at Cuc Phuong National Park.

Wild Plant and Animal Rescue Center at Cuc Phuong has successfully paired breeding white-tail blue pheasants (Lophura hatinhensis).
Pair of white-tail blue pheasants as parents is conservation breeding exchange program on rare and precious avian species between Cuc Phuong National Park and Hanoi Zoo. This is a rare pheasant species and endemic to Vietnam that was especially interested exchange between Hanoi Zoo and France. This species successful reproductive at Cuc Phuong opens great prospects for conservation efforts to recover its populations of rare pheasant species. In the future, program will replicate more individuals that will be returned to its natural distributions.
